On the 1st of December, Algeria like the rest of the world commemorate World AIDS Day celebrated this year
under the theme “Let communities lead”.
In New York, at a press conference, the Assistant Secretary-General and Deputy Executive Director of the Programme Branch of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, Ms Angeli Achrekar spoke about the major role played by communities in the fight against AIDS.
